Kevin J. Casey
Managing Director
Before launching Beaufort Rosemary LLC, Mr. Casey worked for BP Plc from 2000 to 2012, where he led Treasury Structured Finance for oil and gas, commodities trading and alternative energy businesses in the Western Hemisphere. He successfully structured offshore and onshore holding companies and financings to optimize long-term value and multi-billion dollar cash flows in countries and joint ventures with varying cash and currency restrictions. Prior to joining Treasury, he worked in Internal Audit, and was BP’s Americas regional Performance Unit Leader for power generation where he led the development and implementation of project financings, regional strategy, planning, project development, construction and operations.
From 1997 through 1999 Mr. Casey was Managing Director of Sonat Power Inc., the independent power unit of Sonat Inc. and Southern Natural Gas Pipeline Company. He led the structuring, development, acquisition, financing and operation of over 2,500 MW of gas-fired power plants with a capital cost of nearly $1 billion. Prior to joining Sonat, Mr. Casey was an officer of two international energy companies engaged in independent power production in North America where he served in a number of capacities including Controller, Vice President of Asset Management and General Manager of a large natural gas and oil fired power plant.
Kevin started his career working for seven years as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles where he primarily served energy industry clients.
He earned an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. He is a 2008 graduate of the MIT-BP Projects & Engineering Academy (P&EA) and the 2009 P&EA master class.
Kevin lives with his wife Ann in Richmond, VA; they have three sons: Sean, Dylan, and Curran Charles. Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, music, playing the guitar and travel.
Dylan J. Casey
Vice President of Development
In May of 2018, Beaufort Rosemary LLC welcomed Dylan Casey to our team. A 2014 graduate of Florida State University, Dylan brings 10 years of management experience, beginning while still in high school and encompassing a wide range of roles and business entities. During college, he successfully ran the operations department of a luxury vacation rental community during the busy spring and summer seasons. From graduation until April 2018, he managed restaurant locations, with revenues in excess of $6 million and 50+ employees, in Atlanta, Tampa, Houston and Birmingham for J. Alexander’s Restaurants. We are excited about the enthusiasm and skill he brings to our company in his role as Vice President of Development
Dylan lives in Richmond, VA with his wife, Jordan, their perfect new baby Nathaniel and two precious Australian Shepherds, Hobbes and Tato. In their free time, they can be found eating out and working out!
Sean M. Casey-Nelson
GIS Specialist
Joining our team as we continue to explore new opportunities in renewables development, Sean Casey brings a wealth of energy and enthusiasm to Beaufort Rosemary.
Sean hold a Bachelors of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, with a minor in Economics, from Case Western Reserve University, Sean earned a Masters of Music in Performance from Arizona State University.

Sean lives in Allen, TX with his wife, Marla, and two adorable cats, Huxley and George. He is currently working on a textbook on audition excerpts for high school students.
Bradley Joyner
Project Analyst
Brad assists the development team with research and policy summaries, coordinating with outside consultants, maintaining project schedules and supporting board reporting requirements. Brad holds an undergraduate degree from Chapman University in Political Science as well as a Masters Degree in International Affairs: Natural Resources & Sustainable Development from American University.
Prior to joining us, Brad worked as Climate Change Consultant for Environmental Resources Management, Inc. where he provided support in legislative and regulatory policy tracking, analysis, and strategic recommendations to help clients navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments.
Born and raised in Seattle, Brad has taught English at a university in China, and served in the Peace Corps in Tonga. Brad can also be found playing rugby and discovering the best eats in Richmond.
Azmar Middleton
Project Developer
Azmar joined Beaufort Rosemary in November of 2022. He currently assists in multiple areas of project development including site identification and evaluation, lease negotiations and permitting and due diligence reviews.
In his previous roles he worked as a Solar Land Agent for DF Real Estate and as a Land Use associate for Network Building and Consulting. In these roles, Azmar coordinated with the many stakeholders involved in securing sites for cell tower and solar project development including landowners, local, county and state regulators. Azmar is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BS in Applied Economics and a minor in Business Administration
Azmar resides in Richmond and enjoys tennis, running and travel outside of his work life.
Alexander Morganti
Senior Financial Analyst
Alexander leads financial modeling and budgeting efforts for our renewable energy projects. A 2019 graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BA in Real Estate, Alexander came to us after a 3 year tenure at Weinstein Properties where he managed financial reporting for 20,000+ apartment units & projected returns associated with acquiring, refinancing, and renovating large commercial properties.
Alexander lives in Richmond and spends his free time renovating a live / work space in Carytown.
