Projects

Ongoing Projects

Beaufort Rosemary supports Renewco Power Holdings LLC in early to mid-phase development in South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, West Virginia, Illinois and Kentucky. Jointly, our companies intend to develop more sites, with the goal to bring 3GW of solar and storage projects to the ‘ready to build’ stage within 5 years. Our focus is on states in the southeast and midwestern US where there is a lower penetration of renewables and which have new ambitious clean energy generation goals.

Projects range from 50 to 300 MWac solar PV plus battery energy storage systems (BESS) sized to site and market specifics.

We work to acquire land and interconnection rights in attractive locations and to secure the necessary relationships to bring sustainable, renewable power to area utility companies and cooperatives. Our goal is to provide competitive pricing, high quality service and value to local communities.

Benefits

These solar projects will bring a myriad of benefits to the local communities with minimal environmental impact, both long term and short term. Benefits of Solar Energy include:

  • No greenhouse gases or polluting emissions

  • No water usage

  • No waste product from generation

  • No noise pollution

  • Little to no impact on surrounding flora and fauna

Hardee Dydo Solar LLC

In December 2020, Beaufort Rosemary and its development partner successfully sold their rights to the 74.9 MWac Hardee Dydo solar farm located in Hardee County, Florida. This solar farm, now called Fort Green Solar, entered commercial operation in the second quarter of 2022.

The project is strategically located near interconnections with four major Florida utilities on reclaimed phosphate mining land with limited potential uses. The facility is now providing safe and clean renewable solar energy at low cost, while contributing significant additional tax and fee revenue to the local economy.
